Our Cause and Goal
A
t WCPA, our goal is to provide our students with as many performance opportunities as possible to compliment the training they receive in class each week. Performance is a large part of every Arts program, and being able to couple that with performances benefitting local charities is a win-win situation for our students and the community.
Although there is an audition process, and we are looking for students who can make the commitment and grow as performers, we want as many students as possible to be a part of our performance companies and this experience.
Our Cause: Supporting Colorado Families Whose Children Are In Need Of Assistance
WCPA’s goal is to ensure that Colorado Families, no matter their financial situation, are able to have access to the best medical treatment, products and services available to provide their children with the most normal lives possible, despite their illness or special needs.
Each day, the staff of WCPA is privileged to work with amazing, healthy children in our dance, gymnastics and music programs. Through our dancing and performance, we choose to support Colorado children who are less fortunate. WCPA donates proceeds from their Youth Ballet and Performance Company Events, as well as 50% of all Pre-Registration proceeds to three wonderful Colorado Charities: The Children’s Hospital Foundation, The Caruso Family Charities, and the Two Angels Foundation
Gymnasts and Musicians
WCPA wants to involve all students, including Musicians and Gymnasts. Any music or gymnastics students interested in being a part of the WCPA Performance Companies will need to take 1 Jazz, 1 HipHop, or 1 Ballet class weekly , along with continuing their gymnastics and/or music lessons. These students will also need to attend a weekly rehearsal for their designated Performance Company.
Gymnasts and Musicians will enhance our productions by adding special tricks and musical performances.
Interested Gymnasts and Musicians should contact the office staff or their teacher for further information regarding the audition process.
