WCPA offers a competitive dance program for those students wanting more performance opportunities than our yearly dance recitals. The Elite Dance Team is comprised of students 4-17 years old, who are chosen by the WCPA staff through an audition process.

Competition and performing requires Time, Talent, and Dedication. We believe that competition and performance should bring out the best in a student’s talent, build self-image, develop personality, character and perseverance, and foster friendships. Our philosophy is not about the trophies. We never strive to be THE best, but rather be OUR best. That is the real “Win.” We do not want to critique others, but concentrate on improving our own capabilities and talents. We believe the values gained through competitive dance and performance will stay with our students beyond their dance experience and transform into lessons for everyday life.

WCPA has auditions for our Elite Dance Team every May and July. The Elite Dance Team competes at local competitions and dance conventions. Some travel may be required.
