All-Star Poms

WCPA offers an All-Star Poms program for students 5-14 years old, who are wanting an opportunity to compete in local competitions and to push their training to the next level. The goal of the WCPA All-Stars program is to challenge ourselves to be better students and athletes, while growing both personally and in our dance training through competitions and performances

Competition requires Time, Talent, and Dedication. We believe that competition should bring out the best in a student’s talent, build self-image, develop personality, character and perseverance, and foster friendships. Our philosophy is not about winning. We never strive to be THE best, but rather be OUR best. That is the real “Win.” We do not want to critique others, but concentrate on improving our own capabilities and talents. We believe the values gained through our All-Star Poms program will stay with our students beyond their dance training and transform into lessons for everyday life.

The WCPA All-Star Poms compete in three local competitions during the fall and winter months. Auditions for our All-Star Pom teams are held each April, with a four-week clinic held during the month of March.
